We are in need of at least 3 Community Support Specialists/Paraprofessionals at this time.

Job Description:

As a Community Support Specialist/Paraprofessional, you will be assisting families in their home setting by providing important coping skills, social skills, and valuable resources. The services consist of rehabilitative, environmental support, and resources coordination considered essential to assist a youth and family in gaining access to necessary services and in creating environments that promote resiliency and support the emotional and functional growth and development of the youth. This service is provided to youth in order to promote stability and build towards age-appropriate functioning in their daily environment. The Community Support Specialist/ Paraprofessional will provide the link between the family home and the outside Community to foster appropriate social functioning.

This job is PART TIME and hours are based on individual’s time management. Community Support Specialist/Paraprofessional hours do not exceed 30 hours per week. Each individual make their own schedule (*with the exception of required training) to maintain their caseload.

Qualifications for this position include:

1. A minimum of an associate’s degree in the behavioral health field (Bachelor’s Degree preferred).

Experience in any field of psychological, social or counseling services in a human service delivery setting which includes interviewing consumers and/or observing and recording behavior for use in the development and implementation of treatment, rehabilitation or service plans preferred.

C. Pay Rate
With a Degree, and based on Experience: $18-$27 per hour
